The Aviation Museum of Kentucky has been accepted as a participant in The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration. The objectives of the commemoration are to thank and honor Vietnam veterans; to highlight the service of the Armed Forces and other governmental and nongovernmental agencies; to recognize the contributions made on the home front; to appreciate the advances in technology, science and medicine related to military research; and to recognize the efforts made by the allies of the United States during the Vietnam War. Participants are required to conduct two events that support these objectives each year from 2015 to 2017. The Aviation Museum of Kentucky is at 4029 Airport Road, Lexington, adjacent to Blue Grass Airport. For more information, go to Aviationky.org.
