Develop a foundation of obedience and manners for the family dog and for dogs who might go on to other activities. Teach your dog to listen to you and pay attention in the midst of distractions. Help your dog learn to sit, lie down, walk on a leash, come when called, and stay.
■ Intro to Rally/Novice (for dogs who have taken basic obedience class). Four-week session starts 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22. $100. Offering more specialized instruction to prepare you and your dog for competition in Rally Obedience classes or to just have fun with your dog.
■ Reliable Recall Workshop. 1-4 p.m. Jan. 31. $50. One-day workshop consisting of structured exercises and games designed to teach your dog to come when called. Limited to 12 working spots.
