Fayette County clerk receives grant to preserve local government records

Fayette County Clerk Don Blevins has received a $58,900 grant from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives to preserve and manage local government records.

Thirty grants have been awarded for a total of $657,023 from the Local Records Grant Program for fiscal 2015-16.

The Local Records Program helps to preserve, protect and make available records with continuing archival value and to assist local agencies with records management through grant support, training and direct services.
