Eloise Terry, a resident at Morning Pointe of Lexington, recently celebrated her 100th birthday. Terry was born in Henshaw and spent her life in Louisville as an internationally known adagio dancer. Later in life, she started a non-profit organization for retired dancers. The Young Hearts studio for dancers over age 60 is still operating. Terry also spent more than 30 years as a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
In honor of her birthday, she was awarded with a plaque and certificate from Lexington Mayor Jim Gray.
