Jessamine County: Entrepreneurship workshop at Career and Tech Center Wednesday and Thursday

Join Alan Stein of the SteinGroup, Brian Raney of Awesome Inc., Mary Struckhoff of Culver’s, and other movers and shakers for an entrepreneurship workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday and Thursday at the Jessamine Career and Technical Center, 881 Wilmore Road, Nicholasville. Topics to be covered include starting your own business, franchising, small business development, necessary job skills and more. Greenville College Choir at Wilmore Free Methodist Church

The Greenville College Choir of Greenville, Ill., will present a choral music concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wilmore Free Methodist Church in Wilmore.

Founded in 1927, the Greenville Choir has attained a reputation for performing sacred choral music. The choir consists of 34 undergraduate students from various fields of liberal arts study, including the college’s five music degree programs. The church is located at 1200 Lexington Road in Wilmore. Teen Coding Club

Learn computer coding at the Jessamine County Public Library computer lab at 5 p.m. Wednesday and develop the skills to create games, websites and computer programs. During the monthly meetings, participants choose what coding language and project they want to work on and learn. The club is for students in grades 6-12. Vietnam War 50th anniversary commemoration ceremony at Camp Nelson

A Vietnam War 50th anniversary commemoration ceremony will be at 11 a.m. March 29 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6980 Danville Road, Nicholasville. The Department of Veterans Affairs will honor the service, sacrifice and enduring achievements of Vietnam veterans during this event, to be held at the main flagpole assembly area. Scheduled keynote speakers are James Staton, Lynn Young and Skip Kramer. Lapel pins will be presented to Vietnam veterans who served from Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975.
