▪ Air Force Tech Sgt. Bryant T. Martin has graduated from the Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer Academy.
Martin is the son of Joy Grubb of Lexington and Don Martin of Tifton, Ga., and the stepson of Delphus Grubb of Lexington and Carol Martin of Tifton, Ga. He is also the brother of Don Martin of Lexington.
The airman graduated in 1997 from Fayette County High School, Fayetteville, Ga., and earned an associate degree in 2013 from Community College of the Air Force, Gunter Annex, Ala.
▪ U.S. Air Force Airman Richard I. Wilson II graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Wilson is the son of Carmen and Richard Wilson of Lexington. He is a 2015 graduate of Bryan Station High School.
▪ USA Cares and Bassmaster Elite Angler Bradley Roy will hold a Stars and Stripes Bass Open fishing tournament, to benefit military families in crisis, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 24 at Lake Cumberland, starting and ending from the Burnside State Park Ramp, located at 8801 South Highway 27 in Burnside.
A grand prize of $3,000 is guaranteed to first place; additional places will be determined for every 10 boats registered. All tournament proceeds will benefit USA Cares and their veteran and military family assistance programs. Early registration costs $100, increasing to $110 the week of the tournament.
