The Downtown Paris Artwalk XI will be 5-8 p.m. Friday.
This is the sixth year for the biannual Artwalk that runs throughout downtown Paris at 36 venues showcasing more than 75 local and regional artists.
Some of the media included in Artwalk XI are photography, oil and acrylic paintings, textile, bronze sculpting, stained glass, wood carvings, pen-and-ink sketches, wire sculpting, pottery, basket weaving and mixed-media.
During Artwalk XI, the Orchid Society will showcase its spring orchid collections at Oasis Productions, 610 Main Street, and the Master Gardeners Association will give away free flower, fruit and vegetable seeds at its artist displays in front of A New Leaf Florist, 531 Main Street.
Many new artists will be showing at Artwalk XI, including painter Justa Wells and photographer Jarrod Adkins.
Artwalk XI will also feature many musical acts, including Colville Road, Willie Eames, Ronn Crowder, Derek Oldham, David Napier and Kim Ferrell, Joe Akemon and the Barbershop Pickers.
Artist Mary Lamb will be at the Hopewell Museum, along with "Textiles: The Fabric of Life and School Spirit: African American Education in Bourbon County," which is on display through Sunday.
The Artwalk XI artist and silent auction will be at Oasis Productions.
For the first time, an Artwalk catalog, available online at Parisky.com and in print at the Artwalk, will feature each artist's biography, a sample of his or her work and contact information.
