After weeks of mild temperatures and rainy days, Central Kentucky is finally welcoming typical summer weather.
Chief meteorologist Chris Bailey of WKYT-TV said highs should hit 90 or higher through Thursday or Friday.
"This may be the hottest week of the entire summer," he said. "We've been spoiled this year."
He said the humidity would make it feel more like 100 degrees.

"The humidity's going to be an even bigger player than the actual temperatures," he said.
