A Clark County man was charged with more than 100 counts of child sexual exploitation Wednesday after police said they discovered he was talking to people about performing sexual acts on children.
Christopher L. West, 33, is charged with 104 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor and tampering with physical evidence, according to a Kentucky State Police news release.
West was arrested after detectives found he was on various social media networks discussing topics of child sexual exploitation, including conversations with individuals about the desire to perform sexual acts on children, the release said.
West was being held in the Clark County jail.
