WINCHESTER — A Winchester man pleaded not guilty Monday to the murder of a Winchester woman.
Anthony Brown, 32, has been charged with stabbing Kim Hooten, 41, who was found dead about 11:15 p.m. Sept. 10. in the middle of Meadow Street in front of the Generations Center, a Head Start and senior citizens facility.
Brown was arraigned Monday in Clark District Court on charges of murder, first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence. He is being held in Clark County jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
A preliminary hearing in the case was set for Sept. 24.
