WINCHESTER — A man accused of fatally stabbing a Winchester woman in September was indicted by a grand jury Thursday. Anthony M. Brown, 32, has been indicted on charges of murder, first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence in the death of Kim Hooten, 41.
Hooten was found dead about 11:15 p.m. Sept. 10 in the middle of Meadow Street in Winchester in front of the Generations Center, a Head Start and senior citizens facility. Brown was arrested and charged with murder the following day.
