WINCHESTER — A Stanton man pleaded guilty in Clark Circuit Court Thursday to using his computer and cell phone to meet two under-age girls for sex in Winchester.
Under a plea agreement, Jerry Duane Rogers Sr., 47, will receive four years in prison after pleading to two counts of use of an electronic communications system to procure a minor to commit a sexual offense.
Rogers acknowledged that he thought he was meeting a woman in Winchester in June 2010 so he could engage in sex with her nieces, ages 8 and 10. In reality, Kentucky State Police were waiting for Rogers when he arrived at the Peddlers Mall parking lot.
Clark Circuit Court Judge William Clouse scheduled final sentencing for July 14 in Winchester.
