Riley Hunter, 14, of Winchester, was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank a Boy Scout can earn, on May 28. Riley is a member of Troop 56, sponsored by Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Winchester. He is a freshman at George Rogers Clark High School.
For his Eagle Scout leadership service project, Riley planted 140 trees along Lower Howard's Creek to improve local watershed, soil conservation and area appeal. He is the son of Candace and Eric Hunter.
