Police said Stailey and the others charged in the shooting — Lillian Barnett, 18, and Lamont Wilkerson, 20 — were attempting a home invasion of an apartment on the floor above where Caudill was shot. The bullet came through the ceiling. Barnett and Wilkerson were arrested on Christmas Eve and are also in the Clark County jail.
Caudill was a pre-art design major at EKU and a graduate of Powell County High School.
