Lexington Parks and Recreation is seeking public input about the city’s parks and activities.
Four open houses will be held next week to gather feedback for a master plan. An online survey is also available.
“Open conversations about facilities, green spaces, programs and events will help Parks & Recreation find ways to better support the community,” the city said in a news release. “People of all ages are encouraged to share their thoughts with parks employees and other community members. This is your community and Parks & Recreation wants to work to make it better for you and future generations.”
The open houses are scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Northside Library; 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lyric Theater; 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Lexington Senior Center; and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Clays Mill Elementary.
Children’s activities will be available.
