A man was killed early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Lexington, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
The crash occurred about 20 minutes after midnight on Georgetown Road at Berea Road, according to the coroner’s office.
Lexington police said a pickup truck was outbound on Georgetown Road when it crossed the center line and collided with a van, according to WKYT. The driver of the pickup, John R. Arthur, 70, was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, and died at 1:17 a.m., according to the coroner’s office.
The driver of the van was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, according to WKYT.
