Five people have been arrested and charged in connection with a narcotics investigation this week in Lexington.
On Thursday, the police narcotics enforcement unit carried out a search warrant on Lansdowne Drive. Detectives seized seven firearms, 34 grams of methamphetamine, 15 grams of marijuana, 10 grams of cocaine, Xanax and Hydrocodone pills, and more than $6,000 in cash, according to a news release. Five people were arrested in connection with the investigation.
Deborah Eades, 32, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Michael Fair, 37, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and of trafficking more than 2 grams of methamphetamine. Fair was also served multiple, unrelated warrants.
Justin Cooper, 40, was arrested on five counts of possession of a handgun as a convicted felon, possession of two controlled substances — one of which was heroin — and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ketchel Strauss, 27, and Jordon Coffey, 27, were arrested on charges of marijuana possession, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of cocaine.
