Komen Race for the Cure turns downtown pink

Hundreds of participants and supporters showed up to downtown Lexington in pink attire for the Race for the Cure, presented by Susan G. Komen Kentucky. The event kicked off with a survivor breakfast and survivor parade and finished with a 5K and 1-mile race. The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure series is the largest fundraising and education event for breast cancer, according to the Susan G. Komen website.
