The inbound and outbound lanes of South Broadway near the intersection of Gibson Avenue were temporarily closed Monday because of a destroyed gas line, according to the city’s traffic management center.
The incident was reported at 1:49 p.m. and officials began blocking the road around 2:10 p.m. The intersection is near Lexington Clinic and not far from St. Joseph Hospital.
The outbound lanes of South Broadway were reopened around 3:20 p.m., Lexwrecks tweeted. One inbound lane of South Broadway was still closed as of Monday afternoon.
