A shooting on Hedgewood Court Wednesday night damaged multiple homes and vehicles, and caused one building to be evacuated for a natural gas leak, according to police.
Police got a call about 6:30 p.m. from witnesses who said a group of four boys were running down the street shooting, Lt. Paul Boyles said. Multiple shots were fired, striking at least three houses. No injuries were reported.
One of the bullets struck a natural gas meter and caused a leak, Boyles said. Residents of that building had to be evacuated during the leak.
Officers were still gathering information about the suspects Wednesday night and no arrests had yet been made, Boyles said. While bullets struck multiple places along the street, investigators believe the shooters were targeting a specific person or group of people, he said.

Shots were fired in the same area about half past midnight Wednesday morning, Boyles said. No injuries were reported in that incident either, and police are investigating whether the two shootings are related.
Investigators were still on scene gathering information Wednesday night and police will increase patrols in the area, Boyles said.
