The Urban County Planning Commission unanimously approved a zoning change that would allow for the construction of two new hotels near the Interstate 75 interchange at Man o' War Boulevard.
The commission voted unanimously Thursday to change the zones on Pleasant Ridge Drive, Bryant Road and Justice Road from a shopping center, B-6 zone, to an interchange business zone, B-5. The area is 5.4 gross acres. The developer, Gulfstream Enterprises, has proposed building two hotels on the property. There are other hotels that front I-75 in the same area. No one opposed the zone change during Thursday's meeting.
