A man died after jumping from the Russell Cave Road overpass onto the ground at Interstate 75 in Lexington on Sunday, the Fayette County coroner's office reported.
Kenneth Chenault, 56, of Lexington, died at University of Kentucky Hospital about 6 p.m. Sunday. Drivers who saw him jump shortly after 5 p.m. called emergency crews, the coroner's report said. An autopsy was done in Frankfort on Monday, and Chenault's death was ruled a suicide, the coroner's report said.
