A motorist was killed and two others were injured about 7 p.m. Saturday, police said, when the driver of a white Mercury lost control of his vehicle on Man o' War Boulevard, crossed the median and collided with another vehicle. The driver of the Mercury was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County coroner. A passenger in the Mercury and the driver of the second vehicle were taken to a hospital with injuries. Police said the driver and passenger in the Mercury were not wearing seat belts. None of the victims had been identified by late Saturday. The accident occurred near Paul Laurence Dunbar High School between Harrodsburg and Versailles roads. Traffic on Man o' War Boulevard was backed up for several hours.
