Robber wants pill not cash

A Lexington CVS store was robbed at gunpoint Saturday afternoon with the robber demanding pills instead of money.

At 12:40 p.m., a white male in his late 20s with dark hair and a black Chicago Cubs cap, walked into the pharmacy at 3605 Walden Dr. with a black gun, said Lexington police Sgt. Mike Cook. He demanded and received one bottle of Oxycontin, a narcotic painkiller.

The man then left the store on foot. Police are continuing to look for him.
