The Division of Traffic Engineering installed four-way stop signs at Levi Todd and Hays boulevards. Motorists should use caution while traffic adapts to the new traffic control measure.

Cox Street is closed at Main Street and is expected to reopen Sept. 1.

MAJOR IMPACT

Rotating one-lane closures will occur on West Main Street from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Broadway and on West Vine Street from Broadway to Limestone from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. through Aug. 20. The work is related to the Downtown Streetscape Project.

The dual turn lane and the inbound/outbound left lanes of North Broadway will be blocked between West Fifth and West Sixth streets through Aug. 31 for utility work.

The center and inbound/outbound left lanes of North Broadway will be blocked between West Sixth and West Seventh streets through Friday for utility work.

The inbound and outbound left lanes and dual turn lane of North Broadway will be blocked between West Seventh Street and the railroad bridge from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Aug. 31 for utility work.

Both lanes of Ky. 1966/Military Pike are closed from 0.00 mile point to 0.9 mile point while work continues through Sept. 15.

State contractors are resurfacing New Circle Road between Versailles Road and Georgetown Road through Aug. 15. Work hours are 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect lane closures, with one lane open for traffic at all times. The speed limit is 45 mph.

The right curb lane of southbound (inner loop) Man o' War Boulevard will be blocked between Helmsdale Place and Mapleleaf Drive through Aug. 31 to widen the road.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

One northbound lane and one southbound lane of North Broadway will be blocked between West Sixth Street and Elsmere Park through Aug. 20 for utility work.

The eastbound lane of Euclid Avenue will be blocked between Rose Street and Woodland Avenue through Aug. 13 to remove utility poles.

The outbound right lane of South Limestone will be blocked between Colfax Street and Virginia Avenue from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Aug. 31 for utility work.

The left parking lane, left turn and through lanes of South Limestone will be blocked at various points between Colfax and Winslow streets through Aug. 13 for utility work.

One inbound lane of Versailles Road will be blocked at various points at Delmont Drive through Wednesday for utility work.

The far left lane and sidewalk area of North Upper Street will be closed between West Main and West Short streets through Wednesday for sidewalk construction.

The right inbound lane and right turn lane of South Limestone will be blocked between Cooper Drive and Conn Terrace through Aug. 20 to remove the curb and sidewalk.

The right through lane and parking lane of East Maxwell Street will be blocked between Rose Street and Woodland Avenue through Sept. 14 for utility work. There will be no blockage during rush hour, and work will be performed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Summerville Drive will be blocked 24 hours a day as needed at Beacon Hill Road through Aug. 31 to replace a storm culvert.

Old Todds Road will be closed between Palumbo Drive and Caden Lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday for roadway repairs. Use Man o' War Boulevard as an alternate route.

The northbound curb lane of Elm Tree Lane will be blocked at East Third Street 24 hours a day through Aug. 31 for work on the Lyric Theater.

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT

On East Maxwell Street, the right side no-parking area in front of Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church between South Martin Luther King Boulevard and Lexington Avenue will be blocked from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday by moving vans.

Skain Avenue will be closed between Indiana and Forest avenues through Aug. 31 for construction.

Traffic on Highland Park Drive will be limited to residents only from Meadow Park to Oakhill drives 24 hours a day through the end of the year as part of neighborhood improvement project.
