Traffic report: Sept. 13

Major traffic impact

Lanes will be blocked as needed on Rose Street between South Limestone and Washington Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday for utility work.

Significant impact

The right lane of South Limestone will be blocked in each direction between Transcript Avenue and Washington Avenue from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday.

The right lane of West Short Street will be blocked between Saunier Street and North Broadway on Tuesday to unload a truck.

The right lane of the outer loop of Man o' War Boulevard will be blocked between Clearwater Way and Saron Drive through Sept. 22 for sewer work.

The southbound lane of South Martin Luther King Boulevard will be blocked between Campus Drive and East Maxwell Street through Tuesday for road repairs.

The right lane of East Maxwell Street will be blocked between Rose Street and Woodland Avenue through Tuesday for curb and sidewalk work. Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Meadow Lane will be closed to through traffic between Highland Park Drive and Gay Place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Oct. 30 for construction.

Moderate impact

The right southbound lane of North Broadway will be blocked at West Fifth Street on Monday and Tuesday for pavement repairs.

The right lane and sidewalk of South Broadway will be blocked in both directions between Angliana Avenue and Hayman Avenue on Sunday to wash the railroad bridge and sidewalks.

The center lane of South Broadway will be blocked briefly between Simpson Avenue and Virginia Avenue through Wednesday for pavement work.

The right outbound and inbound lanes of Versailles Road will be blocked at Bennett Avenue through Wednesday for pavement repairs.

The right outbound lane of Versailles Road will be blocked between Bennett Avenue and South Forbes Road through Wednesday for pavement repairs.

The westbound lane of West Short Street will be blocked between Old Georgetown Street and Newtown Pike from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Tuesday for utility work. Flaggers will help maintain traffic control.

West Vine Street will be partially blocked in front of 333 West Vine Street through Thursday for use of a dumpster.

Traffic on Highland Park Drive is limited to residents only from Meadow Park to Oak Hill drives through the end of the year for a neighborhood improvement project.
