A Boyle County woman whose SUV rolled nine times Wednesday died Thursday, according to the Fayette County coroner's office.
Danielle Combs, 23, of Junction City, was pronounced dead at 11:05 a.m. at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, a news release from the coroner's office said.
Combs was involved in a single-car accident at the intersection of Old Stanford Road and the U.S. 150 Bypass on Wednesday morning.
Combs was driving her sport utility vehicle east on the bypass and was trying to change lanes when she lost control of the vehicle; it went down a grass embankment, then hit a concrete ditch line and rolled, Boyle County Sheriff Marty Elliott said.
Combs was not wearing a seat belt and appeared to have been ejected through the sunroof, Elliott said.
He said the wet road was the primary factor in the accident.
