Fayette County

Lexington traffic issues as of Nov. 29

Work done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

Special notes

The Division of Traffic Engineering will install a three-way stop sign and pavement markings at Andover Forest and Brighton Place drives on Friday if weather conditions permit. Motorists should use caution while traffic adjusts to the change.

Significant traffic impact

A rolling blockage will halt the right lane of West Maxwell Street between Patterson Drive and South Limestone through Friday for road maintenance.

West Short Street will be closed except to local traffic between Old Georgetown Street and Newtown Pike through Dec. 10 for utility work.

The westbound travel lane of Waller Avenue will be blocked — traffic will diverted to the center lane — between Harrodsburg Road and St. Joseph Drive on Saturday and Sunday for maintenance work.

The eastbound lane of Euclid Avenue will be blocked between Clay and Marquis avenues on Monday for utility work. Traffic will be maintained in both directions.

The parking and right through lane of East Maxwell Street will be blocked between Rose Street and Woodland Avenue through Dec. 30 to rebuild the curb and sidewalk. There will be no blockage during rush hours.

The inbound and outbound center lanes and turn lane of North Broadway will possibly be closed between Granard and West Loudon avenues from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Tuesday for a water main installation.

Moderate traffic impact

Highland Park Drive will be closed to through traffic between Meadow Lane and Oak Hill Drive through Dec. 31.
