The Fayette County Coroner's Office has identified the person who died after a wreck Friday night on Leestown Road near the Leesway Drive intersection.
Julie Reeves, 32, of Morehead, was a passenger in a 1998 Ford Ranger going east on Leestown Road about 10:15 p.m. Friday, according to the coroner's office.
Reeves, who was not wearing a seat belt, died from blunt force trauma at the scene, officials said.
The driver of the pickup truck lost control and crossed the center line, hitting a UPS tractor-trailer head on, Lexington police said in a news release. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
