Volunteers are needed on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon to help clean up Shillito Park in south Lexington.
Much of the work at the 135-acre park will focus on litter pickup and debris removal. Members of the city's Divisions of Parks and Recreation, Streets, Roads and Forestry and Water Quality will provide equipment.
The cleanup, sponsored by the Keep Lexington Beautiful Commission, is part of the nationwide 2011 Great American Cleanup.
