A leak in one of the pools at the Tates Creek Aquatic Center on Gainesway Drive will partially close the facility Memorial Day weekend.
The baby pool and lap pool will remain open Saturday, Sunday and Monday, but the "plunge pool," which has the leak, will be closed, according to a news release from Lexington's Division of Parks and Recreation.
Admission will be $2, instead of the usual $4 to $5, because of the inconvenience, the release said.
The center will be closed Tuesday through Friday to deal with leak. The facility is expected to be repaired and operating normally by June 4.
