Traffic report: week of June 6

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

The eastbound lane of Huguelet Drive will be closed between South Limestone and Rose Street — just past the Kentucky Clinic Parking Garage — through Aug. 5 for construction work. Westbound Huguelet will remain open, and traffic from eastbound Huguelet will be detoured to Washington Street.

Hume Road will be closed between Ami Lane and Winchester Road through Thursday to replace a storm pipe that crosses the road.

South Mill Street will be closed to through traffic between West High and West Maxwell streets Tuesday through Thursday for utility work.

One lane of West Main Street and one lane of South Limestone will be blocked at the intersection from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday for utility work.

The left through lane and turn lane of West Vine Street will be blocked at South Limestone from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday for utility work.

Quality Street will be closed between East Main and Water streets through Monday for the streetscape project.

The northbound lane of Old Paris Road will be blocked between Beverly Avenue and Paris Pike on Tuesday for paving.

There could be rolling blockages in the right southbound lane of Sir Barton Way between Winchester Road and Old Rosebud Lane through June 30 for streetlight installation.

The parking and right through lane of East Maxwell Street will be blocked between Rose Street and Woodland Avenue through Tuesday to rebuild the curb and sidewalk. There will be no blockage during rush hours.

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT

The eastbound lane of Corral Street will be blocked at Eastern Avenue through Friday for utility work.

The west side of Morgan Avenue will be blocked between Bryan Avenue and Oak Hill Drive through June 30 to install a new water main.

One lane at a time of North Martin Luther King Boulevard will be blocked between Barr and Corral streets Tuesday for utility work.

The westbound lane of Penmoken Park between Nicholasville Road and the end of the street will be closed, with two-way traffic maintained by flaggers, through July 15 for utility work.

One lane of Race Street will be blocked at East Fourth Street through Friday to install water service.

The southbound lane of South Upper Street will be blocked at Pine Street through Friday for waterline repair.

The eastbound lane of West Fifth Street will be blocked at Toner Street Tuesday through Friday for waterline repair.

The southbound lane of South Mill Street will be blocked near West High Street through Friday for waterline repair.

The northbound lane of Walton Avenue will be blocked at Hambrick Avenue through Friday for waterline repair.

One lane at a time of Juniper Drive will be blocked between Winterberry Drive and Lansill Road through Tuesday for sewer work.

The storage lane on the left side of West Main Street will be blocked between West Vine Street and South Broadway through July 18 while Triangle Park is renovated.
