Officials have identified a 12-year-old girl who died Friday when a van hit her at Constitution Park in Lexington.
Sierra Hubbard of Lexington was pronounced dead at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital at 10:26 p.m., according to a news release from the Fayette County coroner's office.
She died of multiple blunt-force trauma, the coroner said.
Police said Sierra was walking next to a 2005 Kia Sedona being driven by Jullie B. Reece at the park, behind Northern Elementary School on Rookwood Parkway, when she fell.

According to a news release, Sierra was talking to the three passengers inside and attempting to get into the van when she fell. The van, moving at 5 mph or less, hit her and caused a severe head injury, Hart said.
Police said the case is being investigated as an accident. The news release said that drugs and alcohol are not suspected, but toxicology results are pending.
Police said that Sierra's two younger siblings were in the van and that they referred to the driver as their godmother.
Apparently the group had been playing at Constitution Park and decided to leave, and Sierra decided to walk toward the park entrance.
Arrangements are being handled by Kerr Brothers.
