Fourth of July: What's open, what's closed

Here's a list of Lexington services affected by the Fourth of July holiday weekend:

Government: All city offices closed Monday.

Courts: Federal, circuit and district courts closed Monday.

U.S. Postal Service: No mail delivery Monday.

Libraries: Closed Monday.

Health department: Closed Monday.

LexTran: Monday service will run on Saturday schedule; loading on High Street from 6:20-11:20 a.m.

Garbage collection:

■ City service: No collection on Monday; Wednesday is make-up day. Landfill, recycling center closed.

■ Rumpke: Usual Monday service.

■ M&M Sanitation: Closed Monday. Pickup will run one day behind.
