Marta Pattie, the wife of WVLK Newstalk 590 radio host Jack Pattie, died Saturday of cancer.

Ms. Pattie, 57, was the co-owner of Impact Graphics and co-founder of Joli Salon and Day Spa, according to Pattie family friend Jim Jordan.

Jack Pattie "has often mentioned what a great mom, stepmom and wife she was, and how much courage she had shown fighting this terrible disease, and that she was the love of his life," said Jordan, a retired radio station executive.

Ms. Pattie had two daughters, three stepchildren and two grandsons.

She attended Lafayette High School. The couple had been married nine years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clark Legacy Center at Brannon Crossing with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
