Traffic near Masterson Station Park could be congested beginning Thursday, when the Lexington Lions Club Bluegrass Fair opens. The event runs through July 24 and opens at 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Traffic near Keeneland could be congested Saturday for the Keeneland Concours d'Elegance. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Traffic near The Red Mile off Harrodsburg Road could be congested through Saturday for the Lexington Junior League Horse Show. Hours are 7 p.m. Monday and Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
The westbound lane of Cooper Drive will be blocked between Tates Creek and Eldemere roads on Tuesday for manhole work.
Lanes of Crosby Drive will be blocked as needed between Armstrong Mill Road and Dale Drive through Thursday for milling and paving.
The right outbound lane of Harrodsburg Road could be closed between Della Drive and Lynn Road through July 25 for utility work.
The outbound left-turn lane of North Broadway could be blocked at East Loudon Avenue from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday to replace detection loops.
Side street approaches to North Broadway will be blocked at West Third and West Seventh streets from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday to replace detection loops.
Lanes of Pimlico Parkway will be blocked as needed between Yellowstone Parkway and Waterford Park through Thursday for milling and paving.
The left through lane and the left-turn lane of West Vine Street will be blocked at South Limestone through Thursday for cable work.
One lane of Main Street and one lane of Limestone will be blocked at the Main-Limestone intersection through Thursday for cable work.
Lanes of West Short Street will be blocked as needed between North Mill Street and North Limestone through Thursday for milling and paving.
One lane and the sidewalk of East Maxwell Street will be blocked at Rose Street through Tuesday to rebuild the curb and sidewalks.
The left-turn lane of the outer loop of New Circle Road will be closed at Palumbo Drive from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Wednesday for utility work.
The inbound right-turn lane and inbound through lanes of Nicholasville Road will be diverted to the center lane between Cherokee Park and Hiltonia Park from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday while a crane moves equipment at Central Baptist Hospital.
One lane at a time of High Street will be closed between Kentucky and South Hanover avenues through July 22 to replace power poles on both sides of the street.
The eastbound lane of Huguelet Drive will be closed between Limestone and Rose Street — just past the entrance to the Kentucky Clinic parking garage — through Aug. 5 for construction work. Westbound Huguelet will remain open and traffic from eastbound Huguelet will be detoured to Washington Street.
MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
The right lane and sidewalk of West Main Street will be blocked between North Limestone and North Upper Street through July 29 for construction work.
The westbound lane of Penmoken Park between Nicholasville Road and the end of the street will be closed, with two-way traffic maintained by flaggers, through Friday for utility work.
The storage lane on the left side of West Main Street will be blocked between West Vine Street and South Broadway 24 hours a day through July 18 while Triangle Park is renovated.
