Traffic report, week of Sept. 26

SPECIAL NOTES

The city's Division of Streets and Roads will be sweeping Man o' War Boulevard on Thursday closing one lane at a time. Motorists should use caution in the area.

From Sept. 16 to 22, the Division of Engineering issued land- disturbance (grading) permits for these addresses: 1957 Falling Leaves Lane, 4521 Windstar Way, 2024 Buck Lane and 236 Somersly Place. Permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

One lane at a time of Chinoe Road will be blocked between Hampshire Place and Lakewood Drive through Friday for milling and paving.

One lane at a time of West Main Street will be blocked between North Broadway and Algonquin Street through Oct. 5 to install a sewer line across Main Street.

Old Paris Road will be closed between North Broadway and Strawberry Fields Road from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday while the overhead railroad bridge is refurbished. A suggested detour will be in place.

At least one travel lane of Cooper Drive will be open in each direction between University Drive and South Limestone while repairs are made to an overhead pedestrian walk. Work will be performed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday.

Work on the Clays Mill Road widening project this week will include closing Clays Mill one lane at a time between Cindy Blair Way and Man o' War Boulevard and diverting travel lanes. The work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Oct. 3. Motorists should use caution and expect delays.
