SPECIAL NOTES

Traffic near Rupp Arena could be congested at times on Wednesday before and after the University of Kentucky basketball game versus Radford that starts at 7 p.m. Motorists should use caution in the area.

The downtown Tree Lighting Festival will be 2-7 p.m. Friday at Triangle Park, Broadway and Main Street. Main Street will be closed between Broadway and Algonquin Street before the 6 p.m. tree lighting.

The Division of Engineering issued land-disturbance permits (grading permits) for the following addresses: 1885 Falling Leaves Lane, 203 Ruccio Way, 3765 Branham Park, 293 Somersly Place, 1953 Falling Leaves Lane, 2426 Patchen Wilkes Drive and 3665 Horsemint Trail. Grading permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

The outbound right lane and sidewalk of South Limestone will be blocked between Colfax Street and Montmullin Street through Friday for sidewalk and ramp installation.

The inbound right lane of Newtown Pike will be blocked between Citation Boulevard and West New Circle Road through Wednesday for utility work.

The right inbound lane of Richmond Road will be blocked between Mentelle Park and North Hanover Avenue on Monday for sewer work.

One lane at a time will be closed on East High Street between Kentucky Avenue and South Hanover Avenue through Nov. 30 for power line work. On-street parking will be closed as needed.
