Versailles Road reopened after two-car wreck

Lexington firefighters used the jaws of life Thursday to extricate a man from a car involved in a two-vehicle wreck near Versailles Road's intersection with Heartsbrook Lane.

All lanes of Versailles Road were temporarily blocked after the 9 a.m. accident; most had reopened by about 40 minutes later, said Steve Cummins of the city's traffic management department. Photo by Charles Bertram | Staff
