Traffic could be congested in downtown Lexington near Rupp Arena on Thursday before and after the University of Kentucky vs. Georgia men's basketball game, which begins at 9 p.m.
The Division of Engineering issued land disturbance (grading) permits for the following addresses during the period February 17 to 23: 280 Lincoln Avenue, 581 East Fourth Street, 2236 Pokeberry Park, 2382 Patchen Wilkes Drive, 1764 Battery Street, 2378 Patchen Wilkes Drive, 1029 Corinthian Court, 369 Nelson Avenue, 1856 Goodpaster Way and 3933 Real Quiet Lane. Permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
One lane at a time of Clays Mill Road will be closed and traffic will be diverted into travel lanes between Keithshire and Cromwell ways through March 30 as part of the Clays Mill widening project.
There will be a rolling blockage closing one lane at a time of Liberty Road between East New Circle Road and Appletree Lane through Friday to replace manholes.
The southbound lane and sidewalk of Palumbo Drive will be blocked between Codell Drive and Old Todds Road through Wednesday for cable work.
The right outbound lane of Richmond Road will be closed between Fontaine and East New Circle roads through March 30 to replace electrical poles.
