EOP Architects will present the latest design for the proposed CentrePointe development and ask for public feedback at 5 p.m. Thursday at ArtsPlace, 161 North Mill Street. Members of the EOP firm will answer questions, as will three of the guest architects who are designing smaller buildings on the block — David Biagi, Graham Pohl and Dick Levine.
The Courthouse Area Design Review Board saw a preliminary version of EOP's design at its February meeting and recommended several changes. Those will be incorporated into the design unveiled on Thursday for the now-empty block in the heart of downtown Lexington.
"We're setting up a comment station where people can handwrite their comments, or they can e-mail or post them to our Facebook page," said the firm's spokesman Mark Henderson Thompson. "We definitely want to hear from people."
