The Mayfest Arts Fair in Gratz Park on Saturday and Sunday will have the following impact on traffic in downtown Lexington: Market and Mill streets will be closed between Second and Third streets; Third Street will be closed between Broadway and Upper Street; and Mechanic and New streets will be closed.
The Cherry Blossom Festival at the Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza on Saturday will have the following impact on traffic in downtown Lexington: Short Street will be closed between the two courthouses; and one lane of Limestone will be closed in front of the courthouses.
The LFUCG Division of Engineering issued land disturbance (grading) permits for the following addresses April 27-May 3: 1768 Sandhurst Cove, 3391 Cove Lake Drive, 232 Shell Court, 236 Shell Court and 725 Stone Road. Grading permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.
SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
There will be a rolling blockage on West Maxwell Street between Pine Street and Madison Place on Wednesday and Thursday for cable work.
The right lane of westbound Man o' War Boulevard will be blocked between Tates Creek Centre Drive and Belleau Woods Drive through Friday for cable work.
The inbound right lane of Newtown Pike will be blocked between Nandino Boulevard and Newtown Circle on Monday and Tuesday for cable work.
North Limestone will be blocked one lane at a time at East New Circle Road on Tuesday for cable installation.
One lane at a time on all approaches to South Broadway will be blocked at Angliana Avenue through Friday to install new traffic signals.
One lane at a time of Man o' War Boulevard will be blocked between Richmond Road and Beaver Creek Drive through Friday for milling and paving.
A rolling blockage could close the right lane of North Limestone between East Main Street and Barr Street through May 18 for utility work.
A rolling blockage could close the right lane and sidewalk of South Limestone between East Vine Street and East Main Street through May 18 for utility work.
One lane at a time of Euclid Avenue will be closed at Transylvania Park through May 14 to replace a water main. Traffic will be maintained in both directions.
The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be blocked between Woodland Avenue and Kentucky Avenue through Friday for utility work.
One lane at a time of Fortune Drive will be blocked between Winchester Road and Liberty Road through Friday for milling and paving.
The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be closed between Fontaine Road and East New Circle Road through June 1 to replace utility poles.
The westbound lane of Rosemont Garden will be blocked between Southport Drive and Cherrybark Drive through May 21 for utility work.
One lane at a time of Clays Mill Road will be closed and traffic will be diverted into travel lanes between Keithshire Way and Cromwell Way through May 31 as part of the Clays Mill Road widening project.
MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
The west side of Pin Oak Drive will be blocked at Rosemont Garden through May 21 for utility work.
A portion of the right turn lane of Cooper Drive between Sports Center Drive and University Drive will be blocked 5-7 a.m. Monday to unload equipment.
One lane at a time of Habersham Drive will be blocked at Man o' War Boulevard on Tuesday for cable work.
One lane at a time of Rosemont Garden will be blocked at Chelan Drive through Friday for utility work.
One lane of Squires Road will be blocked at Brookewind Way near the reservoir 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday for street work.
The northwestbound lane of Sparks Road will be closed between Delaware Avenue and Lagonda Avenue through June 1 for utility work.
One lane at a time, both east and west, of Rosemont Garden will be closed between Elam Park and Southport Drive through Friday for utility work.
One lane at a time of Morgan Avenue between Bryan Avenue and Oak Hill Drive will be blocked 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through May 31 for sewer work.
