Man killed in I-75 wreck is identified

A man who died in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 in Fayette County on Saturday has been identified as Gilbert Rosenberg, 57, of Berea.

The Fayette County coroner's office said Rosenberg died of multiple blunt-force injuries.

Rosenberg's vehicle hit the guard rail at mile marker 98 on I-75, left the roadway and struck a tree about 3:30 p.m., according to Lexington police. Rosenberg, who was wearing a seat belt was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Davis & Powell Funeral Home in Berea is handling arrangements.
