Traffic could be congested downtown near Fifth Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday for Thursday Night Live.

The Division of Engineering issued land disturbance (grading) permits for the following addresses from Aug. 31-Sept. 6: 2288 Walcot Way, 3767 Sunflower Street, 2224 Spurr Road, 1874 Falling Leaves Lane, 2380 Fortune Drive, 1791 Sandhurst Cove, 1945 Falling Leaves Lane, 3069 Bobwhite Trail, 233 Grassland Park, and 709 Miles Point Way. Permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.

The intersection of Rose Street and Euclid Avenue will be closed from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday to repair the pavement. Detours will be in place.


The right lane of West Main Street will be blocked between North Limestone and North Upper Street on Friday and Saturday for moving.

There will be a rolling blockage in the right inbound and outbound lanes of South Broadway between Pine Street and West High Street through Friday to install new gas mains.

One lane at a time of Southland Drive will be blocked between Southview Drive and Regency Road through Wednesday for crosswalk work.

The right turn lane of the East New Circle Road off ramp will be blocked at outbound Richmond Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday for work in a manhole.

The right outbound lane of Tates Creek Road will be blocked between Albany Road and Malabu Drive through Friday to replace utility poles.


The eastbound lane of Booker Street will be blocked at Newtown Pike through Monday for sewer work.

The right off-street parking lane of South Martin Luther King Boulevard will be blocked at East Maxwell Street through Sept. 18 for remodeling work at Good Samaritan Hospital.
