MAJOR TRAFFIC IMPACT
Several downtown Lexington streets will be closed at various times Monday morning for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Freedom March. The march starts at 10 a.m. at Broadway and Vine Street.
The left or right inbound lane of Richmond Road between Woodspoint Road and North Hanover Avenue will be blocked at various times Wednesday and Thursday for sewer line inspection.
The right inbound lane of East Main Street between North Hanover and Eastern avenues will be blocked at various times Wednesday and Thursday for sewer line inspection.
The right turn lane of West Main Street at North Broadway and the right outbound lane of North Broadway will be blocked Tuesday for sign maintenance.
North Limestone will be closed to through traffic between East Loudon Avenue and East Seventh Street through Jan. 30 for sewer work.
All lanes on Nicholasville Road will be blocked at Collins Lane for less than 10 minutes between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to install aerial fiber.
The right inbound lane of Nicholasville Road between Southland Drive and Tahoma Road will be blocked Tuesday to install aerial fiber.
One lane and the sidewalk of Angliana Avenue between Curry Avenue and South Broadway, will be blocked until Friday for sewer work. Flaggers will maintain two-way traffic.
DeRoode Street between Versailles Road and McKinley Street, is closed through Dec. 31 for work on the Newtown Pike extension project.
MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
The southbound lane of Jefferson Street between Tower Plaza and West Main Street will be blocked periodically through Feb. 15 for utility work.
DeRoode Street at McKinley Street will be reduced to one lane periodically through Friday for utility work.
Whitmer Street will be reduced to one lane periodically through Friday for utility work.
One lane of Eastland Parkway between Cantrill Court and Fort Sumter Drive will be blocked through March 15 for stream restoration work.
