A pilot escaped injury at Blue Grass Airport Thursday afternoon when part of his twin-engine plane's landing gear malfunctioned.
The rough landing occurred about 3:30 p.m., airport spokeswoman Louise Bowden said.
The pilot was landing the twin-engine Cessna at the Lexington airport when the plane's nose wheel collapsed, Bowden said.
The pilot was not injured, and there was no damage to the aircraft other than the malfunctioning landing gear, she said. No one else was on board.
Bowden said she did not know whether the plane had taken off from Blue Grass Airport or another location.
