Lexington traffic report, week of June 10

Work done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., unless otherwise noted


Milling and paving operations will be conducted through Saturday on the following streets: Auburn Drive between Eastland Parkway and the cul-de-sac, Beacon Hill Road between Della and Wolf Run drives, Brighton Place between Andover Forest Drive and Darlington Circle, Eastland Parkway between Fort Sumter Drive and Memphis Court, Hill Rise Drive between Hill Rise Court and the end of the street, Kimbolton Drive between Todds Road and Barnard Drive, Old Paris Road between West New Circle Road and Northwood Drive, Summerville Drive between Pine Meadow Road and Pinkney Drive, Westminster Drive between Londonderry Drive and Deauville Road.

The left inbound lane of West Maxwell Street will be blocked between Madison Place and Merino Street through Thursday for utility work.

One lane and the sidewalk of the Avenue of Champions will be blocked between Lexington Avenue and South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard through Friday for construction work.

Palomar Boulevard is closed at Amberwood Court through June 28 for intersection repairs.

DeRoode Street is closed between Versailles Road and McKinley Street through Dec. 31 for work on the Newtown Pike extension project.


A portion of the southbound right lane of South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be blocked at East Maxwell Street near Good Samaritan Hospital on Monday for construction work.

One lane of Old Paris Road will be blocked at Deepwood Drive through Wednesday for utility work.

The outbound bicycle lane of Euclid Avenue will be blocked between Kentucky Court and Marquis Avenue through Friday for utility work.

Lanes of Locust Avenue will be blocked as needed between Oak Hill Drive and Bryan Avenue through June 21 for utility work.

Up to two lanes of South Limestone will be blocked at Conn Terrace on June 23 for pedway maintenance.
