Korean War veterans celebrate fellow soldier's birthday

Friends surprised James Marshall with a birthday cake Thursday as he and about 40 other Korean War veterans held their annual luncheon at Lexington's Hannanoki Japanese Steakhouse. Marshall, a U.S. Army veteran who turned 90 on Thursday, served in both World War II and Korea. The luncheon was an early celebration of the 60th anniversary of the armistice that ended the Korean War on July 27, 1953.
