A Transportation Security Administration manager at Lexington's Blue Grass Airport resigned after he was charged with sexually abusing a co-worker, according to court documents and TSA officials.
Shane Hinkle, 38, of Paris is accused of forcibly touching the co-worker, according to Fayette District Court records.
The abuse is alleged to have occurred twice July 31 and twice again Aug. 4. Video of the alleged abuse Aug. 4 was recorded, the documents said.
The TSA released a statement Tuesday saying that Hinkle resigned after being placed on administrative leave.

"Shane Hinkle is no longer employed by the Transportation Security Administration," TSA spokesman Jon Allen said. "TSA holds its employees to the highest ethical standards and expects all employees to conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism. After TSA leadership was notified of the allegations Aug. 6, the employee was immediately placed on administrative leave and the agency commenced an investigation."
Hinkle resigned from TSA later that day, officials said.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on four counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Hinkle has been released from the Fayette County Detention Center.
