SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

Columbia Avenue is closed just east of Woodland Avenue through Nov. 15 for sewer line excavation.

DeRoode Street is closed between Versailles Road and McKinley Street through Dec. 31 for work on the Newtown Pike extension project.

The right-hand lane and bike lane of East Maxwell Street will be blocked between South Martin Luther King Boulevard and Stone Avenue through Friday for gas line installation.

Parts of Fontaine Road will be shut down from East High Street to McDowell Road and from Woodspoint to Sycamore roads on Monday and Tuesday to raise the manholes to match the new pavement grade.

Grimes Mill Road is closed at McCalls Mill Road on the Clark County line through Dec. 31 for demolition and construction of a new bridge.

One lane of Hammond Avenue will be blocked between Bennett Avenue and Molloy Alley through Oct. 31 for utility work.

Lexington Avenue between East Maxwell Street and Avenue of Champions is closed through Nov. 8 for gas line and services installation. Detour signs are in place.

The outbound lane of Manchester Street will be blocked between the railroad and Thompson Road on Tuesday and Wednesday for utility work.

The right outbound lane of Newtown Pike will be blocked at West Loudon Avenue through Friday for utility work.

The right-hand inbound lane of Nicholasville Road between Edgemoor Drive and Hiltonia Park will be blocked from 6 to 9 p.m. through Oct. 31 for water line repair.

The right inbound lane of South Broadway will be blocked between West Maxwell and West High streets on Thursday for construction work.

One lane at a time of West Fourth Street will be blocked between Jefferson Street and Newtown Pike through Nov. 4 for curb and sidewalk construction.

The southbound lane of Woodland Avenue is closed between Rose Lane and Hilltop Avenue, and traffic will be detoured, through Nov. 15 for sewer line excavation.

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT

The following streets will be blocked through Nov. 4 for paving:

Cunningham Lane between East Fourth Street and Nelson Avenue, East Fifth Street between Julia Way and Race Street, East Fourth Street between Race Street and Withrow Way, East Third Street between Lewis and Race streets, Julia Way between East Fourth and East Fifth streets, North Limestone between Templeman Alley and Constitution Street, Nelson Avenue between East Third and East Sixth streets, and Withrow Way between East Fourth Street and Nelson Avenue.

One lane of Bennett Avenue will be blocked at Versailles Road through Oct. 31 for utility work.

Blackburn Avenue will be closed at West Fourth Street, with access from West Third Street only, through Wednesday to remove railroad tracks.

Part of Embry Avenue will be blocked between Bennett and Hammond avenues through Oct. 31 for utility work. Two-way traffic will be maintained.

The center turn lane of Euclid Avenue will be blocked between Transylvania Park and Woodland Avenue from Tuesday through Thursday for pavement repair.

The inbound lane of Leestown Road will be blocked at Leesway Drive on Thursday for pavement repair.

The right lane of North Limestone will be closed between Barr and Pleasant Stone streets through Oct. 31 for construction work.

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, the sidewalk area of North Upper Street and one lane of Wrenn Court will be blocked between West Main and West Short streets for work at the Old National Bank Building.
